Craig Castree is an award-winning Horticulturist of 45 years’ experience at growing his own food organically and creating edible gardens. He has worked extensively in both wholesale and retail nurseries in Victoria. He has also worked in fruit tree orchards and is the current Vice President of the Werribee Park Heritage Orchard at Werribee Park Mansion. He is an educator who teaches others how to live a more sustainable, self-sufficient life in an urban setting. He is a regular on 3AW Radio and Southern FM on Molly's Blooming hour, where he speaks about the power of soil biology, the urgency of regenerating our food systems, and the simple actions anyone can take to grow change. A published author of six books, Craig has dedicated his life to helping others live more self-sufficient, sustainable lives — starting right in their own backyards. He teaches practical, soil-first methods that empower people to grow real food in harmony with nature, no matter where they live. From wholesale nurseries to orchard management, Craig’s roots in horticulture run deep.
